VBS Hosts CVM Community Fund Drive Campaign
The Community Fund Drive, the University of Minnesota’s annual charitable giving campaign, began October 1 and continues through October 31. The fund drive is an easy way for Twin Cities faculty and staff to donate to local nonprofits. Employees donate through payroll deduction or a one-time gift.
The drive kicks off with a Bake Sale on Thursday, October 12th from 11-1pm in the lobby outside room 225 Veterinary Medical Center. We invite you all to attend and if you are able to donate any baked goods or volunteer your time to assist with the event, your help is greatly appreciated. Any baked goods remaining can be purchased in 301 Vet Science Building after 1:30pm.
- 10/19 Virtual Bingo: Bingo cards can be purchased from 301 Vet Science Building from now to October 18th for $1. Bingo words will be read on Thursday, October 19th and sent via email to those playing throughout the day. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
- 10/25 Chili Lunch: Chili will be served in the lobby outside 225 VMC from 10:30-1:30pm. Please click on this link to sign up for the chili lunch.
- 10/31 Haunted House and Costume Contest will take place in 215 Veterinary Science from 11-1pm. Please click on this link to sign up for the Haunted House.
Month long events include the Candy Jar Count, Creepy Crawly Infestation, and Giving Animals. Departments and CVM Units will be sent separate instructions for these activities.
