Talita Resende, Graduate School Trainee working with Dr. Connie Gebhart published the paper, "In situ hybridization detection and subtyping of rotaviruses in swine samples," in the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigations along with Dr. Fabio Vannucci.
This publication illustrates subtyping and observation of in situ transcriptionally active virus in pigs. The investigation of pathogenesis during natural or experimental infections, may also benefit other mammalian species susceptible to Rotaviruses (RV).
