Biography

Dr. Aertsens is from France but has moved a lot all his life. His veterinary degree was earned in Belgium in 2006, where he worked for one year prior to going back to France to work for a few years as a general practitioner. Passionate about surgery and eager to provide and perform advanced surgeries himself, he undertook a residency in Small Animal Surgery in the biggest private hospital in France, and became Board Certified of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons College in 2018. Since his specialization, Dr. Aertsens has worked in England, Canada, and the USA in multiple private and academic institutions.

Outside work, he enjoys refurbishing his second house from floor to ceiling, gardening, and traveling to go hiking.
